Mental Health Monday: Rolling with the Punches

Much like when a boxer is caught off guard by a hit, when you "roll with the punches" you make an effort to lessen the impact of the unexpected.

Here are a few strategies to help you roll with the punches:

1.     Practice Acceptance: Accept that change and adversity are inevitable parts of life. Instead of resisting or denying them, acknowledge your emotions and embrace the reality of the situation. Acceptance doesn't mean you have to like what's happening, but it allows you to move forward with greater clarity and peace of mind.
