Breaking Stalking Basics- Empowerment through Education

  • Women's Opportunity Center 290 Elwood Davis Road, Suite 300 Liverpool, NY, 13088 United States (map)

Some Facts:

  • January 2025 marks the 21st annual National Stalking Awareness Month!

  • Did you know that 13 million Americans are stalked every year? And yet, there's very little proactive awareness and prevention information offered to our communities on what to do if someone is stalked!

Do you want to learn more about this topic? Then join the Women Opportunity Center's life coach and business owner of Breaking Stalking, Stefania Ianno as she shares her survivor-to-thriver story and offers introductory tips on how to recognize and respond to stalking!
Free and open to the public, this 1 hour workshop is suitable for anyone (18+), but can be particularly beneficial for parents, mental healthcare workers, victim advocates, and faculty and staff at high schools and colleges.

Whether you join WOC in person or virtually, all attendees will emerge from this session with a PDF copy of a Breaking Stalking tip sheet with resources, a stalking behavior log, and information on how you can continue to learn more and be an advocate in your own community! We hope to see you for this unique and informative workshop!
