We always have your back. Join one of our support groups to create that support network. Starting December 2023, we will offer a virtual (Zoom Platform) support group called the Comeback Queens. Beginning in January 2024, we will offer an in-person support group at our Ithaca location called WOC S.T.A.R.S. (Women’s Opportunity Center’s Supportive Tribe Achieving Resilience & Success). Additional support groups are currently in the development stage with 2024 deployment plans.

Project Amunet draws inspiration from the Egyptian goddess, "The Hidden One," reflecting the silent struggles of those facing non-physical domestic abuse.

Just as Amunet guided the winds, we aim to bring a breath of empowerment to survivors.

Non-verbal abuse often goes unnoticed, leaving survivors uncertain about their experiences. The silent treatment becomes a tool of isolation, creating a power dynamic where acknowledgment is denied to invoke fear and control.
